OVERVIEW
The Spoon Focaccia is a popular Italian bistro located on Graham Street in Central that seamlessly blends the concepts of a bakery and a restaurant. The menu focuses on classic Italian focaccia, with Chef Dylan from Malaysia using modern culinary techniques and Malaysian flavour influences to create a unique, long-fermentation focaccia with high moisture and minimal oil — extremely crispy on the outside and airy and soft on the inside.
The design features a bold red-and-white colour scheme, creating a sharp contrast with the elegant green decor of the previous establishment at this location. The open chef’s counter is the centrepiece, allowing guests to watch the culinary magic up close.
REGULAR LUNCH OFFERING
The Spoon Focaccia’s regular menu features creative focaccia creations. Signature items include the Honey Butter Focaccia Dome (a dome-shaped bread filled with smooth cheese cream, topped with guanciale — a perfect balance of sweet and salty), Pan-Seared Salami Focaccia (with tomato butter sauce and mascarpone cheese), and the Hong Kong-Style French Toast Focaccia (a creative local twist topped with bananas and fresh mascarpone cream).
